Allergen Notice

Please be advised that our kitchen uses and processes the following known allergens:

 

Nuts and Nut By-Products

 

Eggs and Egg By-Products

 

Milk and Dairy Products

 

FD&C Yellow #5

 

Wheat

 

 

Although we do our best to avoid cross-contact, we cannot guarantee that any item is free of allergens due to shared equipment and preparation areas

Refund, Return & Exchange Policy

As our products are handcrafted, perishable, and made to order, all sales are final and subject to the terms below.

 

Custom Orders

 

Due to the nature of custom orders, we do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges once an order has been confirmed and payment has been made.

 

If a custom order is cancelled at least 5 days (120 hours) prior to the scheduled pick-up date, we are happy to offer store credit equal to the amount already paid.

 

Store credit must be used within 3 months of the original order date.

 

Cancellations made with less than 5 days’ notice will result in forfeiture of any payments made and may require payment of the balance if costs were already incurred.

 

 

 

 Order Changes

 

Design, flavor, or quantity changes must be submitted no later than 7 days prior to the pickup date.

 

No changes will be accepted within 7 days of pick-up. This is due to scheduling, preparation, and sourcing requirements.

 

All order changes must be submitted in writing via email or in-person.

 

 

 

Pick-Up and Acceptance

 

Once a product is picked up and signed for by you or a designated party, it is considered accepted as-is.

 

At the time of pick-up, we will ask you to review the order details, including spelling, color, design, and overall appearance.

 

Refunds or store credits will not be granted due to disagreements over design, color shade, writing style, or artistic interpretation after the product has been accepted and left the building.

 

 Product Care and Liability

 

We will provide instructions for the proper transport and storage of your items. Once the product leaves our premises, we are not responsible for any damage that occurs during transit, handling, or setup.

 

Damages include, but are not limited to, melting, smudging, cracking, collapsing, or shifting of design elements.

 

 

Flavor, Texture, and Quality Concerns

 

Because taste is subjective, full refunds will not be issued based on personal preference.

 

If you believe the product quality (e.g., underbaking or a foreign object) did not meet expected standards, please contact us within 24 hours of pick-up and return the remaining product to our shop.

 

We reserve the right to inspect the product and determine the extent of the issue. If the concern is deemed valid, we may offer partial store credit, the amount of which will depend on how much of the product is returned, how quickly it is returned, and our assessment of the issue.

 

No consideration will be given to complaints made more than 48 hours after pick-up. Products that are entirely consumed will not qualify for store credit or review.

 

Cancellation Policy

 

All cancellations must be made in writing and acknowledged by our team.

 

Orders canceled 5 or more days in advance may receive store credit (no refunds).

 

Cancellations made less than 5 days before the scheduled pick-up date will result in forfeiture of all payments.

 

No exceptions will be made due to the perishable nature of our products and the impact of last-minute cancellations on our business.

 

 

Design Disclaimer

 

All of our products are handmade, and decorative finishes are subject to the artistic interpretation of our skilled decorators.

 

You may provide photos for inspiration; however, exact replication is not guaranteed.

 

Some decorative elements may require additional fees, which will be communicated in advance.

 

Final results may vary due to technique, medium, color availability, and environmental factors.

 

Last-Minute Orders

 

We understand that sometimes events arise unexpectedly, and we do our best to accommodate last-minute orders whenever possible. However, due to the fast-paced nature of our production schedule and the handcrafted detail of our work, any order placed within 5 days of the pickup date is considered a “rush” order and is subject to the following terms:

 

Rush orders are non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances once they are placed, paid, and confirmed.

 

Because time is limited, design options may be restricted. We will always inform you of what is feasible within the time frame and provide alternative options (e.g., edible image versus sculpted design).

 

Once a rush order is submitted, we begin preparation immediately, which includes purchasing materials, blocking out production time, and beginning initial work.

 

We will do our best to honor all requests made at the time the order is placed, but any late requests for changes may not be accepted or may incur additional charges.

 

If a rush order requires added detail that affects cost (such as characters, intricate design, custom images, etc.), those charges will be clearly communicated and must be approved and paid for before we can proceed. If you choose not to approve those additions, we will adjust the design accordingly to fit the original budget, within time and material limitations.

 

 

By placing a rush order, you acknowledge and agree to these limitations and understand that creative flexibility and time-sensitive communication are required on both ends. No refunds will be issued for changes in design interpretation, price discrepancies, or declined add-ons once the rush order is in progress.

 

 

Capacity & Order Limitations

 

We are a small boutique bakery and can only take a limited number of orders per weekend. When you place an order, we reserve time and resources for your event and may turn away other customers.

 

Because of this, all deposits and payments are non-refundable and non-transferable, unless your order qualifies for store credit under the terms listed above.

 

 

Policy Acknowledgement

By placing an order with The Baker’s Boutique, you acknowledge and agree to all the terms outlined in this policy. We reserve the right to update or modify these policies at any time without prior notice.

Wedding Cake Deposits

 

Due to the nature of wedding cake planning and preparation, all wedding cake deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.

 

When a wedding order is booked, we reserve significant time, resources, and materials specifically for your event and often turn away other custom orders or inquiries for that date.

 

Because of this, cancellations—regardless of notice—will result in forfeiture of the deposit.
